FNSI

Strings and more strings.!  I am so glad that I love strings because Bonnie Hunter's Orca Bay mystery had us making many more. I pulled strips, cut more strips, cut papers to size and sewed like a mad woman. I got five done :-O
Well,  OK I may have played with my iPad a bit. There were a few emails I read. I might even have worked on some of those adorable pink strings that aren't quite done. But I did get FIVE brown ones done!!!!

Hop over to see what others accomplished during their FNSI.  The button's on the right.

Goodbye New York!

I'm headed to Newark Airport.  Because I'm frugal (!) I decided to take the airport shuttle. There was a LONG line (it's New York!  Go figure ) .  I was the last one let onto the bus. They assured me my bag would fit in the overhead. It didn't.  At this point I'm getting yelled at because "This bus needs to go! " I ended up shoving the bag in my leg space and sort of draping myself over it for the 30 minute ride. All I can say is that I'm glad I've been doing my daily  stretches.

I'll miss the Big Apple but I'm happy to be heading home. I miss my bed.  My husband, too.  And I guess the dog.

NYC Saturday evening

Well, we're sitting in our second theater of the day. Looking very forward to seeing Bernardette Peters in Steven Sondheim's Follies.

On a Clear Day was wonderful.  Harry Connick,  Jr has a voice to swoon over.

Who is living a charmed life?

NYC Saturday 2

On our way to the matinee to see Harry Connick, Jr.  I 'almost' hate to waste the weather but I do live in San Diego so I'm no stranger to good weather.

We also hung out at Hugh Jackman's stage door and got some good photos. They're on my friend's camera so I'll post them later.

NYC. Saturday 1

We're staying in SoHo so when we wanted to buy some Broadway tickets, we headed way downtown to the TKTS Booth. There were a bunch of tall ships here. I had to grab a photo to show what a glorious day we are having.

I hope your day is equally glorious.

New York 4

Here we go! Into the theater!

New York 3

There were a bunch of light poles decorated like this. When o got up close I discovered that the pokey things are individual cable ties!  Each one was individually attached. They go up 8 or 10 feet!!

PS: We are headed to see Hugh Jackman in " Back on Broadway".  Jealous?

New York

We saw the windows at Macy's.  Beautiful!   The weather is totally cooperating for us. There is a sidewalk christmas tree vendor on almost every block so the City smells like Christmas!

NEW YORK!

I am playing hooky in NYC with my good friend and partner in crime, Julie.  We hit the Christmas Market in Union Square and did very little damage.

I'll post several small posts because I can't figure out how to send more than one photo from my phone.

Hope you all are having as much fun as I am.
